Gearbox noise

There is annoying noise coming from the gearbox on both drive or reverse, the car still drives but makes unpleasant noise. gearbox oil was changed recently too.

is the box done / on the way out or is there anything that can be done?

I have recorded the noise and uploaded it here as a zip file

Did EML light turned on? Mine started all of the sudden to do a extremely weird noise, like a zzzzzzzzz while runing. After reading the error, came P1756. Anyway, half an hour ago, the gearbox went down. Gonna start a separate thread to what may have ahappened and what that P1756 means

LE: yup, mine did the same. A grinding sound, metal on metal

Mine is not been used at the moment and parked in the drive but it still drives/moves so the box is working.

I recently changed the oil and there is no leaks, the nose must be coming from the torque converter (I think)

The source of my pain.........it actually happens when the steering is on full lock (left and right) gana, power steering fluid is on max..............belts?
