Gear linkage problem

Hi

i have just driven the super s and something has gone wrong somewhere, when i normally push the gear stick across to the left (not into a gear) and let go, it springs back. NOT ANY MORE it just flops about but still selects the gear in the normal place, the spring tension when putting into reverse is still there?

any ideas guys?

probably a stupid question but how easy is it to fix and where is the spring located?

its just a little spring under the gearstick steve, easypeasy :grinning:
