Ga16 conversion

Hi I'm in the middle of doing the conversion I have it sat on all 4 mounts but the throttle body seem to sit quite close to the fire wall. Is this normal?

yes i was surprised to see how close enuo,s was to the master cylinder and firewall

Ok brilliant I thought I had done something wrong. Also the water pump what is the best way to blank it? I was going to cut the pump mechanism out and get the whole filled with weld or is there a easier way

I removed the pulley, then pressed out the bearings and replaced the lot with a core plug

Sorry to thread borrow but we've just put a ga into a k11 but the dizzy plugs are the same but I assume the wires need to be a different way round?!

Mine were the same. Car is non nats and ecu is also 1.6 non nats

And you have had no problems?

Actually not to worry. The car has nats but all the loom plugs in and it turned out the plug leads were on the wrong way. Running pukka now
