Fuel Tank Issue

Hi guys,

Ive just filled my k11 from just below the top of the red line to full and it only took 27odd litres.....am I right in saying that the tank is 42L? My question is why cant I fit more fuel in or is the red zone really 15L worth of fuel?

Very likely 15L yes, and there will be half that left in the tank when you run out

Fair enough just thought it strange that I was only able to get 27L in the tank!

fuel tank rubber breather pipe might be kinked?

here at the bottom of my blog post #28 you'll see the old kinked rubber hose

replaced it with a ribbed conduit hose but that eventually hardened n kinked again.

so replaced it with a heater hose
