Fuel Pump has no power

Hi, My 1995 micra has no power to the fuel pump. Can anyone tell me what colour the wiring is that leads to the fuel pump (my dad's going to test it becuase I have no idea).

He changed the fuel filter today and it ran better than ever for about 20 min. I stopped at the shops and when i tried to start it again the fuel pump had no power to it.

If anyone has any ideas or wiring info, please help!! Thanks

hi try a workshop manual, it could be the fuel pump relay that is faulty. sorry dont know the colour of the wire to the fuel pump.

the uk colours are black/red relay to pump
brown fuse to relay
and the relay is earthed via the ecu black/yellow
i think the relay trips off after about 5 sec,s

Thanks heaps. There is no power at the wire for the relay (black & red), do you know where the relay is?

not sure, i assumed it was one of the row beside the fusebox ?
(mine,s on gas, and there,s clicks galore behind the dash, soz !)
can,t find where in the haynes btw

Thanks for your help. Hopefully it will be cooler than 37 degree's tomorrow when my dad tries again!
