Fuel Door Cable Failure - Quick Highway Fix & No Tools

Hello all over,
there are probably several ways the fuel door release cable can break.

Hereby a quick remediation for my case. Don't know how it will last.
In any case I was able to get gas.

When correctly working, part A and B are one piece. The metal fork blocks the sheath via A+B.
When the fuel lever (close to the seat) is pushed, the cable pushes the metal lever in the picture. This metal lever pulls the plastic slider that opens the fuel flap.

I had to arrange:

Just put the A part after the fork and the whole sheath is lockd again and perfectly working.

Enjoy.

P.S.: does anyone knows where to buy the spare?
Thanks.
