fuel consumption and rough idle

Hey, my 2001 1.0 k11 with 34000 miles on it but is shocking sore on petrol there was a engine light that came on and I reset the ECU and the light went off but as I said sore on petrol, flat spots when you put the foot down and a rough idle (up and down) just wondering what it could be. Lambda/maf?

Unplug your maf sensor and see if it runs OK. Also get those ecu codes read using torque app and a Dongle. All for under a tenner.

Excellent advice. Get the bluetooth dongle on ebay and download the Torque app and read any stored codes.

What faults would put on the engine management light got a new maf fixed udle made abit easier on fuel but then the light came on again today but running grand still using a bit much fuel me thinks
