front wheel spoiler

I've noticed that the most part of moder cars have got a little spoiler ahead the front wheels:

I think it is very effective from an aero point of view, so i am going to install something similar

The first option is to place a piece of plastic vertically in the wheel arch with some rivets, any other ideas?
