Hi everyone, first post here.
So my 1.4 2006 k12 c+c has developed a strong vibration from the gearbox area, it's felt around 1500 revs while out of gear, and very strong while accelerating through first, and if you go hard it happens all the way through second gear too. Never happens in third and above, and doesn't happen at all if I take it easy.
I never used to be able to feel the vibration, but only hear it, and when I had all 3 mounts replaced a couple weeks ago it became very apparent now that the engine is securely bolted to the car.
My best guess would be the flywheel.
My local mechanic has asked me to find out if this car has a dual or single mass flywheel, because if it's a single it wouldn't be vibrating as much as it does.
I called my closest Nissan dealership and the parts center just told me they aren't actually sure which it is and that cars of this age usually have a single mass, surely they should actually know which one it is!
So, does anyone here know if this engine has a dm or sm flywheel?
