Flooring a micra?

Hey lads I was reading cisco's micra files and the rear cargo tray idea caught my attention but I just want to know how others would go about fitting such a floor to their micra given the drop in height between the boot floor and the seats? Heres the page I was visiting:

Nex on here used to have one, not sure if he still does. I can see a point, makes the back a bit more like a van (Y) but you are right mart, would add quite a bit of weight!

Looks tidy tho..& he can afford a bit of extra weight.Be fine with a bit of 10mm MDF & will hide all your travelling kit in the spare wheel well..

Yes true it will add a a bit of extra weight in the back i would prefer the tidy, clean look of cisco's micra. i was tinking even just using light plywood with carpet glued on top. thing is though it willl need to be hinged to access my spare. Another idea was to only raise where the seating area is with ply or mdf and get a piece of carpet big enough to cover the lot......or i could just buy a k11 van ha
