Are we all agreed the WHOLE GEARBOX must come off - not just the drive-shaft etc on the Clutch side ? What are these things you have to prevent falling into differential - that sounds scary !

I am planning another dismantling soon and would like to avoid the savings on the garage bill being spent on new clothes. If one were to take the plug out the day before and leave it dribbling overnight perhaps??

I can do one in about 2 hours i changed mine on saturday between races
Dont use a broom handle you narner use a 1/4 drive 7/16 long reach socket to line up the plate up
il do it for about £160
