Fan Problems

The fan in my micra gx is a pain! :down:
when at maximum settling, in fact any speed setting and on the recylced or non recycled setting, the air vents doesn't produce air or when it does it is very little and i dont know how or why this is happening!
can anyone help? anyone with similar problem to why my fan might not be working? and where exactly it is located?

Sounds like the fan is nackerd...I believe its behind the dash, which is about 4-6 bolts to take off

Have you checked the fuse? Is your interior light working?

well ill need to nice to someone to do that for me! not a girls job and known my luck i would brake something lol
all my fuses are fine as far as i am aware, will double check though and my interior light works great

hi suzi, if your car is a k11 ?, it,s probably a resistor card problem

it is a k11 i just realised i put in wrong forum lol

I'm not sure if it is the resistor if it isn't even working on max speed, I thought the resistor controlled the middle speeds only?

It works on the very low setting its terrible when you trying to heat the car up on these cold mornings lol

Sounds like the motor itself unfortunately! I managed to get one 2nd hand from the local breakers yard for £5.
