Tom, I reckon you should do what I was going to do to mine if you don't have any takers.

Get some wet/dry sand paper and a can of Laquer. Gently sand down the outer lens until it's an even cloudy colour all over, once your happy laquer it.

Hopefully it should look good on people who own silver micras.
