experiencing problems with car

hi jus a quick help needed here, my temp gauge on the dash is not working, also when i come to traffic lights the car is stalling.

so i got 2 theories, temp guage is not reading correct n running the car rich like it would do on a cold morning, or throttle body could be stalling it n the temp sensor has nothing to do with it.... however id like to fix the temp guage so does anyone have some recommendations?

I'll come have a look tonight if I've got the time. Sounds like it's your MAS - Mass Airflow sensor!

cheers, email me ur number n ill get u somewere. i got a spare TB also so it could be jus as good changing it over ? but i want temp guage sorted !!!-lol

Common to nearly all Nissans there are two temperature sensors, one for the gauge, one for the engine management, so I would think the gauge and the stalling fault are entirely unrelated to each other, unless there is an engine grounding issue perhaps.

Have you performed the old throttle body resolder yet?
