Exhaust hanging down

Will a new cat hanger solve this? the bend near the backbox basically catches on everything.. just wondering what rubbers/hanger i may need so i dont have to get round replacing it (which il probs need to do anyway soon as its rusty as ****)

i just replaced the rusted hanger with a thick steel rod tied to the exhaust with wire to stop vibration (preferably welded on)
a new cat hanger from dealers was quoted a hilarious £80 for a simple piece of bracket

yep tis such a poor design vulnerable to rust damage

i used to do this with mine

Thats a good idea, cant say ive got the odd peice of metal pipe hanging around tho lol
