just conservatively, if you put numbers on the seats and rails, the vlsd box with shafts, the volk wheels and tyres, the RG coilovers and suspension, the custom turbo kit you will have an idea of the coin i have spent on this car. Thats before the cost of the car itself! Almost ALL the parts were imported from japan myself. If you are interested, please email me a realistic figure and i will consider it!

I am ****ing drooling over this car.....!!!

i want to ask a price, but then i always bloody start thinking... is it just full of issues having all this work done on it and is it just being got rid of like other turbo'd micras?

people end up giving up on having a stable one that isn't ready to blow any moment or get sick of rebuilding after the 3rd time.

with all these aftermarket parts yes it must be worth a packet, but you'll be lucky to get a 3rd of the price back on them all selling it like this.

i mean mate...you've gone absolutely sick on spending yeah? more than i've ever seen hahah

i'd be surprised if you can sell this thing. you are way better off selling all parts separately and really make some money back. but will take a while....

wtf are you on? which other turbo'd micra's are being passed on? i installed the turbokit on this car and anything that wasn't up to scratch was binned and replaced. if you've been on these forums for long you've probably realised that this is the 3rd micra i've done.. all still going strong including my own currently the most powerful turbo micra in aus with a stock engine to my knowledge... there's no reason it can't be done.. and done to last. that said there's to many cowboy's out there that diy everything and end up getting to keen on the tune and pop headgaskets etc the engine in this car is still mint condition.. every few months i do compression/leak down tests on any car's i work on just to gauge the age of the engine..did this car recently and all came back fine.. anyone wanting results feel free to pm me and i can organise to have this done again for your peace of mind if you like.

i don't believe anyone's rebuilt there micra 3 times?

like chris has said already.. add the cost of the volks, gearbox, seats, turbo kit and coilovers and your near on 15k of parts 2nd hand! let alone everything else on the car + the extra parts and the rarity of this car itself, and you might understand how much it will cost you.. just to put people in the right ballpark thou.. if you don't have anything to offer in the region of mid to high "teens.. i think you need to rethink your finances before you go embarass yourself. as for gone absolutely sick on spending? more then you've ever seen?... me thinks you need to look at one of my threads

sorry for the offending you in my questions.
i do ask leading questions to get the replies i want sometimes....

and also thanks for putting down some costs...

so if high teens is all you're after, when most of the mods cost at least that, then the car is practically thrown in to the deal?

ps: evade rebuilt his 3 times.....

evade didn't rebuild his 3 times.. It's not a rebuild if u keep putting stock engines back in.. That's just called fixing it! LOL ... I don't take offence mate.. I just reply with the same style :p.. And yup.. That's how I take it too.. Make an offer round there to chris and u could have yourself a free car!

Not sure bout the second motor that Evade had but the 3rd one was running 10psi and had not been tuned for it, He told me it was leaning out thats how i no. My car is running round 10psi and has been tuned by turbo and is running fine on the original motor, I don't think that it will live a real long life but it is the original motor and it is putting out alot more power than a standard micra does.
As for Chris's motor it is like new and would be a great car to own.

just to get the facts straight

I didn't rebuild mine at all...and it was only 2 motors

my stock adm engine blew a headgasket

i put a jdm engine in it..that started to get a bit of blowby but didnt die (the new owner says its still going haha) - thats because i never got my ems retuned after installing a bigger fmic - my lazyness at fault...

and it doesnt matter how much coin you put into a car..not many(if any) people are going to pay $15k for a micra..you're kidding yourself and might as well sell off parts first to try and recoup some of loss first...that said someone paid $20k for cisco's one I guess..

but..that said..the car looks awesome, those te37s are very nice..go very well with the black body. also there was a factory black micra in melbourne just after I bought my supers..unless thats the same one then its not the first in the country..it had vic plates SUBZRO

I can confirm the build and parts of this car. GTRHOLIC/Chris does not do things in halves. It is his daily driver and he cannot afford for it to be unreliable or off the road. This is very unique car.

If you want a serious micra this would be it. Chris has had the ability to sit back and learn from other people's mistakes when building these vehicles. I would say it is worth the coin if you're that into it.
