Sorry I didn't read it, I was thinking a micra with mr2 engine u will have something Diffrent @porkI'm not buying it, just suggesting it.
It might be worth doing it slowly after a years project and mean while sorting any rust welding and prep on the car,

quick question for doing custom engine mounts do most people use mig ? I had a mig but sold it, I have a stick welder 130amps reading many fourms and if says it will burn holes,

Frank my welder is same as yours but on low voltage around 60amps with 1.5mm rods it's still burning, I tested few spare scrap metal, Diffrent rods but still doing same, mig vs stick ?depends on your welding ability azzy
so mig is the way to go on about it ?

no way, I also had tig, I never used it, there was points where u need 2 hands, also needed a lot practice on, and weld was good for thin metal, not my type of welderTIG
Don't be discouraged buy what seems like a lot of work dude, these cars are surprisingly simple and there is tons of information all over this forum if u just read through some old build threads. I've been in the same situation as u for a while now, bored of the slow engine but not wanting to spend too much or take on too much work, I suppose the answer is too play with the engine u have currently, carb, exhaust, rebuild head, etc and maybe learn enough to take on something like a cg13 swap later, but if u do sell ur k10 then let me know! lol
