Engine Swap

Yesterday i tried taking the engine out of my 1.0 ls due to timing belt snapping and breaking a piston. Got most of it done and got to the driveshaft and just couldn't disconnect it. Does anyone have any pointers that could help wiv this thanks

Hi Mate....Jus get a Levering bar in between the Driveshaft and the G.box and leaver out slightly whilst pulling the drive shaft....Rember to put something under to catch the oil when it pops out

i just popped the wishbone off the bottom of the suss then pulled hard it pops out

Thanks alot, thought it would be a little more sophisticated than just levering it as i did try that to start and struggled, but after another go it came after my persistance
