someone will have some advice im sure,,unfortunatly i have none but wish u good luck and hope to see a picture diary posted on the msc please :) cos im nosey and would be very interested in what hapens with your project.:)

ps,,no need to SHOUT

search for ga16 or ga16de and you will see plenty of info, may need to become a member to get more into some of the threads tho....

while on the subject, can anyone suggest or recommend anywhere in the northeast (the closer to sunderland the better) that would be able to do my ga16de engine conversion for me, i was all for doing it myself but when i think about it realistically i havent got the time, tools or sparce to do it plus i would need my car back asap and i would imagine a garage would be able to do the job a lot quicker than me!

PROJECT STARTED TODAY. GAVE ONE OF MY MECHANIC'S THE JOB TO DO. IT HAS TO BE FINISHED FOR FRIDAY AS IT IS NEEDED FOR THE WEEKEND. WILL KNOW WHAT SORT OF PRICE IT HAS COST BUY THE WEEKEND AND IF I WOULD DO ENOUGHER. USING PRIMERA ENGINE, BOX, ECU & WIRING LOOM. DRIVESHAFTS ARE THEPROBLEM AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL GET THEM MADE IF NEED TO.

What is wrong with your keyboard? Please there is no need to write in all capitals.

have a look at the thread posted by nicon on the 1.6 clutch for info about the drive shafts, should help your mechanic out.

also may save you a lot of money custom drive shafts WILL be expensive.

oh and i may have a contact for the engine conversion...well i do, but i will post the results next month and you can see how good he is.
