does anyone know how a 1.3 or even a 1.6 ecu would suit in a 1.0 micra k11??

I tried my 1.3 ecu in my mum in laws 1.0 and it wouldn't even start.

why would you want to though, a 1L ecu is made for the 1L car

only because its not standard and if there are any gains when the ecu is upgraded then it shall be done :doh:

just need to know if there are any gains lol

It would be because of NATS.

I've no idea, it could be because the pins on the 1.0 and 1.3 are in different positions, or it could have been because mine is a JDM and their ecu is different to ours.

Neither mine or my mum in laws have NATS, mine is a mid '92 and hers is an early '93, both pre facelift.

I think the Japs use a different pin layout than ours, but not totally sure.

i've been running a cg13 on a cg10 ecu for 6months without any noticable problems.

im running my 1l ecu with a 1.3 engine due to nats, unless u bypass the nats any ecu will not start the car as my 1.3 ecu didnt start the car at all so stuck with the 1l ecu

it will work. not sure of any gains though. sonic's is a march, so they are different ecu's to the uk cg13. that's why it wouldn't start the cg10.

if you put a 1.6 ecu on it would probs lose alot of power! and it would run poo lol
