ECU kit swap

hello guys!
I have a faulty nats 2 in my car and i have a little dispute with a local workshop. They say that i can only swap the ecu and antenna and the cars would start, but im kinda sure that i need to swap the immo box too. Can someone more informed confirm who is right?

no immo box on the facelift k11,s i believe, they were integral with more wires on the antenna

mine is the 4 wire small antenna, also the car has an immo box (see picture).
