Door Card Glue Removal

Hello,

What can i use to get the glue off the doors after taking the door cards off? This stuff is seriously sticky,so any tool i use to try remove it is gonna get covered in the stuff.

Is there any solvent(s) i could use that'll 'strip' it off without damaging anything else.

I've got some Adhesive Remover (aerosol) i got from halfords aaages ago i could try.

Any ideas?

Soapy warm water? er, label remover.

If you've got a misses, you could try her nail varnish remover, but do it in a inconspiculous area first.

what bits are you on about mate teh stuff that holds the plastic onto the door or on the actual door cards as when i done mine it just came off and was smooth with a lil bit of a sharp knife down where the glue went

When you remove the door card...theres a plastic sheet underneath the actual door card. You peel this sheet off and theres a sticky beige colour glue left on the door. I still havent had time to remove it yet,may be a weekend job
