Do All Of These Cars Rust IN The Same Place?

My wifes car, a 1996 Muzic, has no rust that I know of ...... but, it seems to me - looking around - that rust developes in the sills by the rear arches.

Is this a common fault and how do you avoid it if you are clear of it?

yes the engine will outlast the bodywork in most cases!

Won't really help the sills rust from the inside not the outside.

i put loads of rust stopper on the inside of the sills, accessable from behind the rear 1/4 panel trim (3 door (not sure on 5 door)),

Yes they do, more if you have a sunroof, the drain drips onto the rear sill.

if you have a five door then you're knackered, lol i know from experiance
