digital clock backlight

i have some super s clocks in my 1.0l, everything on them works, properly. i had to take a signal wire from the dizzy, and the tacho works fine. i was wondering if the digi clock has a back light, as mine doesnt illuminate at night, and i dont know if its meant to? any ideas?

yep its supposed to come on with ignition, mine was gone when i bought it and didnt realise.

cheers, i'll try chuckin a new led in it. thanks for the quick response. is it just wired up with the rest of the backlights then?

no its wired in to the accesory live, so will come on with 1 click of the key, probably why they blow as it isconstantly on! dont forget LEDs are polarity sensitive.
