how does an inline amp work?

for instance i have some normal speakers upfront, some JBL jobbies

but at the rear im fitting some fusion components with a splitter crossover box jobby, and i should be getting a pair of subs from a friend with an amp... this amp can be used to amp the components and the sub?

Why fit components to the rear? You don't need them, Micra's are not big enough to need rear fill audio.

You'd be better off using the amp to drive the components up front and a sub in the rear.

Its just what was in the car works well so might as well but is. It worth having an amp for the normal speakers and an amp for the sub?
