Datsun Micra indicators

I have these Orange indicators from a Datsun Micra that are attached (but non-functioning) to a later car I am breaking.

Since they replace the side-lights Im guessing that the Datsun must have had its sidelights elsewhere?
Anyone know where the side lights were on a Datsun Micra? Built into the headlights perhaps?

No, they are actually split with where the indicators are on a facelift Micra. Half is the sidelight, half is the front indicator (the side ones on Datsuns are technically the side repeaters)

They are intergrated with the indicator on the front bumper. I've just fitted some datsun ones to my K10!
