Cutting Springs

Hi guys ,just looking for information on cutting my 97 gx springs. Just want to know is it just a straight forward cut spring job or do i have to do something with the panrod (whatever its called ha) also how many coils would yous recommend to get a no arch gap from this pic? thanks (wheels are 13 inch)

Cut each spring in the same place and you'll need 2 coils off standard springs to give the drop you want, make the cuts so that the springs relocate well in the housings! all the best mate ;-)

Panahrd rod, depends on how low you go but as far as im aware anything past a 35mm drop needs a panhard rod unless you want the car to act unpredictable,

And dont cut too many coils at once, one at a time max.

Best advice would be to buy a pair for lowering springs though

What do you mean by this?

yep it will be one at a time job! well my sisters one is well pass -35mm and it handles well

True but I honestly think its the springs causing it

its the drain! the has been rolled on its side so it may contribute back to the matter of cutting my springs straight forward cut and put baqck in job then?
