cutting coils

hello, is it possible to cut my coils just because I don't want to spend on some new ones, if this is possible how many should I cut off and is it easy

Start with 1 coil. Angle grinder, check a Haynes manual if you haven't done it before. See what you think. Cut another one of you wish. Load of guides / threads on here. Good luck!

Remember: Always cut coils from either the top or bottom, never the middle...

it is possible to cut your springs but if you dont know what your doing you could kill yourself your passengers,pedestrians or other motorists
