» CMF MemberI recently swapped the pistons in my spare 1.3 engine for 1.0 piston.
During the swap out I managed to put a scratch in one of the conrod shell/bearings.
I emailed Nissan and they linked me to this replacement part

When I went to fit it I noticed that the new bearing had a hole thro its centre, which I presume is an oil hole, whereas the old bearing doesn't.
It was identical in shape and size to the old one so I went ahead and fitted it.
I have contacted Nissan and they have assured me that it's the correct part.
I'm due to fit the engine next weekend but now I'm freaking out about the hole!!
Have I been sent the wrong part? What do you recon guys ??
