Clutch rattling

Is this a bad thing? Does it mean I may requrie a new clutch?

When I put it into first gear it sounds like a helicopter taking off, thats what my sister says but when I put some revs on it disapears.

mine does that, its a bit embarassing eh ! (but only sometimes for some reason)
its only the thrust bearing, i,ll change mine when it gets really bad (next year maybe)

So nothing to worry about like the clutch going? How much would it cost for a thurst bearing?

probably 15 quid, its a g/box off job tho !
i,m gonna live with mine (can,t be a###d to do it yet) i might need a clutch next year, so i,ll do them both together

Il leave it till I need a new clutch if its not major.
