Changing head light bulbs

Went to the sheffcruise meet last night and discovered my left dipped headlight bulb had ceased to work. Anyone ever changed theirs and what bulb does it require?

Being a bit lazy really. Worked 7-7 today and same tom so wont be able to look really until saturday.

They use an H4 bulb.

to remove the bulb you need to pull off the rubber bung on the back of the light. Pull off the power lead. Under there is a cooper wire thing press down on it and slide it to the left or right cant remember which way. That should release the bulb and walla. I only found this out by taking my head light out. I've got Philips blue vision in mine and they looks really smart.

I just ordered some Osram Silverstar's for mine. Supposed to be 50% more light on the road, well I guess I will see when they arrive.
