Anyone know what torque settings I would use for 2x Nissan gasket,

same settings, but they will compress more over time azzy, i would re-torque them after running the car personally

39nm, then 78, slacken then 35, then 60 deg mate

yeh, and for added insurance, fit the fire-rings from a multi-layer steel CR (k12) head gasket too

frank saying 2x gasket do I just put 2 in ? Do I seal both on ? Or does the engine head tighten both up ?

all the torque settings should be in the pdf manual download azzy
and alloy heads have high compression/clamping forces near the headbolts (the red areas) and not so high forces along the middle (the yellow bit)

so the k12 fire rings squash flat near the black arrow, but dont squash flat near the red arrow

Am with u now frank it's weaker in middle, and stronger on the red area left and right,

I never did get around to re-torquing my ones, yes they survived 13 months running and 5 months of boost but I'd recommend it

Stani will u say standerd micra 1.3 torqing setting is ok ?

That's fine just wanted to see if I can leave as micra spec or to retorque it after a drive like frank said, but if it's been fine on yours for months I'll leave it

Retorque is to loosen and then redo the standard settings again to take up any slack in the gaskets/headbolts after a few hundred miles running. I just forgot...

ill torque them up as frank said and after like 100 miles I'll retorque them up see how it goes
