half the price and half the weight but i've heard nothing but good things about Optima... maybe a Batcap for the starter and a yellow top for the Accs...

Just get a nicer Varta/Bosch Silver Top for your starter then either a Yellowtop/Batcap/Redflash (look at http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/index.php?cPath=73_56_59 for the Redflash, damn good batteries at a damn good price) running a splitcharge setup and you'll be sorted.
Saying that, I'm running a 1.6kwrms system with just a bigger battery up front and I'm fine
