Hi,

I own a 1994 Micra and need to put my new sony cd player in. There was no radio fitted to the car I just have these wires without a connector block....

*Blue
*Blue
*Brown
*Black w/red stripe
*Black w/blue stripe
*Black w/white stripe
*Red w/black stripe

Can anyone tell me what each cable does please?

Is this a K11 bubble shape or K10 box shape? I'm guessing the K11?

I'll see if I can find the colours for you in the Haynes manual.

Oh, and you'll want a Bare Wires > ISO adapter to install your stereo

Hi! Sorry, started making this post earlier but had to leave the pc to sort some stuff out! Right, by looking at the Haynes manual I've got the following info:

Front Left Speaker = Black/White Wire and Blue Wire
Front Right Speaker = Black/Red Wire and Brown Wire
Rear Left Speaker (may not have this) = Red/Yellow Wire and Black/Yellow Wire
Rear Right Speaker = Black/Pink Wire and Red/Black Wire

Ignition Power (switched power) = Blue/Black Wire
Permanent Power (headunit memory) = Red/Black Wire

Ground = Black Wire (may not have this, run a new earth for your new headunit and connect it to the cars metal chassis)

Illumination = Red/Blue Wire

Looks to me like you have the 2 front speakers, then ignition power, permanent power and possibly illumination?
