Im hoping to get a SatNav and Speed Camera Detector in the near future.... has anyone got any recommendations of any 'budget' ones?

sure, if you can find one, the Snooper Evolution is the best radar detector available, and at halfords they are just £149.99 (thats £250 off)
the Tom Tom range is by far the best navigation unit on the market, Garmin will freeze on you (the display one at work has been changed three times in a month) RA navigator was recalled thismorning... lol Navman tend to get lost...:laugh:

I dont think Garmin is that bad tbh, I have the Garmin I3 bought from ebay for 120 pounds brand new and it has never let me down. If you want a budget one then it doesnt get any cheaper than that, plus you'll get speed camera locations pre-loaded on the memory card too.
yes it doesnt detect new ones or mobile ones but do you really need one? camera locations file can be updated via a website btw.
