broken odometer.

My odometer just stopped working, speed trip and overall k's all stopped heading to the wreckers on Saturday to get a new one anyone else had this happen and have an easy fix to keep my current k's on it?

Probably just the cable between the gearbox and the dash?

Yeah I had a look all looks ok took the dash out and everything was connected, there is two micras at my local wreckers so i guess ill grab one whole setup from gearbox to dash and have a look. Checked the engine bay looked good there too.

is the end of the cable spinning if you drive it with the cluster off meeecra ?
and i usually just click the numbers round from the front

Ahh I didn't take it for a drive with the cluster off ill try that tomorrow if it is I'd assume its the tacho itself, I read on here you just use a needle to "adjust" the k's back to normal, thanks Frank.

Turns out its the Speedo cable! Took the odometer out and no spinning anyone have one from a manual micra they want to sell me the local pick-part had none in their micras.

I managed to get one on Saturday arvo from a local wrecker, I live in Dapto, about 5ks from where the huntley hill climb is.
