brake lines

mot is up at the end of the month and i had a look under the car a fait few things need sorted
for a start the brakelines are quite badley corroded does anyone know where you can buy new ones
also the sills need rewelded but thats not a problem

I think you can get some decent goodridge brake lines from rallynuts

He'll be talking about the solid brake pipes, when mine failed for that the garage ended up doing it cause i needed the car back, they usually make them at the garage so a motorfactor might make one up.

yearh garages make them up out od copper pipe. they cut a big length of and bend it to the standard one.

I got charged a couple of quid for the line but its the labour thats the cost if a garage does it.

yea my mate mentiond his was about £130 to be done :O

Thats a bit much! Mine cost 1 hours labout at about 50quid plus vat.

how bad is it? is it just surface corrosion? if so just wire brush it then paint them, obviously if there almost rusted through they need changing but if its just surface then you will be ok.
