Battery connected wrong way round now electrical issues

Hi, silly mistake but it was dark and I was reinstalling the battery and connected the battery terminals the wrong way round and now all the electrics do the working expect the lights and that the car starts. Does anyone know if there is a main fuse which could have been blown?

I cant seem to find a blown fuse?

Its usually one of the big fuses near the battery

I had a same problem yesterday and it blew the fuse for all the electrical inside the car (dash, speed, fuel, cd, inside lights)...the car wouldn't start for 30 minutes as well but after replacing the fuse and waiting for 30 (I read some where on the net that the ECU shuts down and needs time) everything was ok

Can you change the big battery fuse near the battery coz I think that is also gone, I tried pulling it out but it wont come out without breaking it apart.
