Just gauging interested into referbing the oringial steelies on the car at the moment. Are these prices resonable ball park figures, also how wide can i go with 13's without touching the arc's

Depends on the offset and tyre size. Rear or front. I think 9 at the back is quite doable 8 front.

Check dizzyspell's micra. He had some wide steels on it

Another Fin 8.5" front 9" rear 195/45 13 dont know what ET

I've got 9" wide banded steelies on mine. If you run a bit of camber on the front (1.5 degrees), and a stretched tyre (185/55/13 or 175/50/13) 8J wheels should fit. Dependant on the offset of course but mine are about ET0 with 195/45/13 tyres and with an aggressive flare they fit

I looked at getting my original wheels 'stretched', but at £350.00 found it cheaper to get a set of VW Scirocco 6" wide wheels and stick them on.
Possibly not an option if you want really wide rims though ....

Nope I got a set of (mixed colours !) steelies all 6 x 14.
Now fitted with 195/55-14" Toyos

Aha, nope sorry matey, despite what girls might tell you, size is important, hence stuck with 14"
That way I've maintained (as near as dammit) the original rolling radius of the OEM wheel.
