BadBoy Bonnet

Hi, so as I went to the scrapyard I decided to get a bonnet and have a go at making it into a badboy bonnet. So this thread is just a little progress report as i go along with it.

Below is the progress of it so far,

This is the Bonnet as I bought it (very similar shade to mine)

This is the 1st side spotted in

This is the view of it so far with the one side welded in.

So obviously the next job is to weld the other side in then i'll need to get some filler and paint, I will keep up looking pics on this thread as I go along.

try tacking it onto the very lip of the bonnet instead of from the inside, when i did mine i welded it on the inside and it was a real effort to make the bonnet close, also needed a lot of filler over the top and rust bubbled underneath and knocked the filler out
