Bad boy bonnet

cut out the pieces of metal that you want cover the lights with, weld them to the bonnet, filler/smooth/paint etc.

not sure if you need to move the headlight a little further back tho.

here is how i did mine :)

1. weld on bits of metal (steel) made from old computer case. use cardboard to get the right shape first.

2. use fiberglass filler to fill the gap DO NOT USE EASY SAND FILLER!!! ever becuase it cracks.

3. check it's looking level

4. Check it's bad-boy-ness on the car.

5. take the headlights out and cut them back so that the bonnet doesn't hit them when it closes. (sorry no pic) this is easiest with DEPO headlights rather than the stock ones.

6. put it all together at 3 in the morning, collapse on the floor due to exhaution but not before you take a pic ;)

hope that helps :)

Looking good Nex!

Unfortunately I don't have the balls to start cutting up my car :(

well there is no cutting involved except the headlights :)

i thought the exact same way so i went out and brought a brand new bonnet and headlights...

came to about £160 for all the new bits including del...

I might give it a try when summer comes - you got any better pics of the vent buddy?

hahaha thanks.

that was taken about four hours after the last pic (the really dark one). with a brand new bonnet, bumper, grill and headlights (with blue bulbs lol) and i'd just cleaned it. then it was a 3 hour drive in the snow to the Brighton meet last year and by the time i had got there it didn't look so nice with a thin layer of mud...

and damn was it cold lol :) so cold that the hot water i was cleaning it with froze!!!
