Ok Iv not been around here much lately after selling my little blue and trading her in for something a big bigger and a lot less japanese.... dont laugh....

Problem is theres not many modified ones around the alloys for a start are a stupid size 4x114.3 I was wondering if anyone is willing to help with possible alloy choices.

Any thoughts/advice?

Plans for her so far are:

> Alloy wheels

> Tinted windows

> Rear spoiler from the sports models and sideskirts, and front and rear splitter (front splitter can be seen in the artemis album above)

> Lowering 30mm

> Egg crate grill as seen on later s40's

> Custom made carbon fibre center console, door inserts etc

> Fit DVD screens into the front headrests

> Retrim of drivers seat (it has a tear in it) in black leather and all seats given gray/charcoal top stitching.

it looks a clean looking volvo! plans sound good! keeping it subtle with getting splitters and skirts from top spec model (Y)
those headlights are smart!!!
 
Cheers Napster, yea sold her 3 weeks ago now shes up for £1700 in the dealer but I got 1200 for her which I think was a good price. I miss her but I love the comfort of this and it just cruises along at 100 without problems its so smooth n the seats are lush :eek:).

I want to just keep it looking nice but I get 50mpg at the moment so Im not changing anything engine wise (its a 1.9TD).
 
wow thats a very good price! is that price with everything on the micra? as in leds, and those sweet alloys?

sounds like you really like your new car! :) MPG sounds very good for engine! must of been looked after!
 
The price was with everything on LED's alloys etc. Shes still for sale bless her I hope someone nice gets her. I wanted to sell her through here but honestly I dont think I would have gotten 1200 for her.
 
why the volvo? you said about a bigger car, but theres a few bigger than the micra lol?
guess it was a good buy with FSH? or dealership finance?

you said bout not touching engine, but what about an exhaust?
 
I just fancied it it was nice and comfortable took it for a test drive and it was nice and smooth but still has a lot of pull to it. Insurance is about £15 a month more not much really, tax is the same as the micra with it being a diesel and it has 1yr MOT full service history, one owner from new with 80k on the clock, granted 80k is a bit but not really for a diesel.

different to your micra alloys! guess you dont mind few spokes or multi?

Cheers on the comments, decided Im going to get those wheels they are League Midas, I looked at loads of options but none of them are the right stud fitment I wanted something similar to the BMW m3 look but I like the League ones they will look nice on, my photoshopping skills leave a bit to be desired.
