I'll be doing this exact thing on mine. You can normally find these on some Japanese scrap cars (especially older ones). All you should need to do is take the foglight wire from the tail cluster and wire it to the bumper-mounted light.
It's been done on this March Cab. I have those same tail lights, hence the need for the auxiliary lamp:
I don't see any reason why not, as long as the fitted bulb is rated the same as the original fog bulb in the cluster. Not 100% but an additional fuse may be needed too, but those can be wired inline.
