any virgin media 2Mb peoples?

I don't know if you heard, but 'we' are getting upgraded to 10Mb over the course of the next x amount of time, for free I believe. Any ways, I applied to virgin to get upgraded quicker, and today it happened. It took me a while to realise I downloaded a high definition tv show from the bbc in half the time it took to watch it.

So, if you are a 2Mb customer, have you had an upgrade yet? If not it might be worth googling the virgin media upgrade and putting your name down.

Yeah i was upgraded a while back . I always do my downloading after 9pm though to avoid throttling

A few weeks now. Been getting 1.1MBps on downloads for ages, always been on an M package.

adsl is crap.. id be on virgin if i had the choice. although i do normally get ~13-14mb/s on o2

Leicester was upgraded ages ago! Some time last year I think. I'll have a look for the email which arrived a few weeks after they upped the bandwidth

the upgrade from 4Mb to 10Mb was last year summer time.

the upgrade from 2Mb to 10Mb was announced by Virgin Feb this year.
