Yeah was thinking that! I don't really have a knocking noise it's more like creaking noise. It's the top mounts I'm pretty sure!not if there are no signs of contact scott
Possibly, I got spare top mounts in my garage but it's finding time to swap them overCould that be the bearing surfaces issue like I was gunna have?
I hit a pot hole at about 90 on a motorway the other day and I thought my wheel got ripped off it sounded horrible!!! Got a squeak from the passenger side from then, pretty sure it's the top mount.Cars being too low can cause a knocking anti-roll bar but yours looks ok :/
When does it squeak just generally?I hit a pot hole at about 90 on a motorway the other day and I thought my wheel got ripped off it sounded horrible!!! Got a squeak from the passenger side from then, pretty sure it's the top mount.

That's tight and in good condition. Only put the engine in 2700 miles ago.Check rear engine mount. Mine was loose and caused a loud squeak over bumps . 3 bolts.

When I jacked it up to change the wheels over, I grabbed the strut and gave it a good wobble and there was a bit of movement so I'm going with top mounts.I'd agree with top mounts
Try wishbone bushes and anti roll bar bushes too
