What engine size would be best to go for and trim bearing in mind I dont wanna push my insurance tax up that much. thanks and roughly a good price to pay

How cheap do you want the insurance lol I had my GTI at 19 with 2 years no claim and cost £1100 on insurance so im sure it wont be alot for you IMO the phase 2 is the best looking and with the best extra, headlights, white dials etc Get yourself onto the www.almeraownersclub.net and talk!!

That's okay, I thought you were having a dig is all Primera is a bit bigger, but I don't see it as that much of a problem. Almeras are good too though, better driving position in the Almera, although the Primera feels better built! lol
