has anyone fitted bonnet pins or aero catches to ther k11 if they have how hard is it to do and pics please?

Aerocatches are a bugger to fit but look 10x better than the ****ty metal ones that rust, i dont have detailed pics but you can see them fitted

Look at this picture bottom right you can see where i fitted mines and yes i done them, whats your purpose? My intercooler was that big i had to do away with the bonnet catch completely

For styling and to try and get my bonnet to sit level as. It sits high on one side wouldn't mind turboing it or putting a bigger engine in but can't yet due to insurance :-(

Aerocatches are universal fitment fella, can get you some close uppictures of me ones if you need, (or have a look at my blog) basically:

Cut the double skin away under the bonnet where the pins will sit
bolt the pins in loose (i used the avalable holes in the front pannel
put a dab of paint or oil on top of the pin
lower the bonnet onto the pins
paint now shows you were to drill
put a hole through large enough to fit the pin (10mm carnt remember off hand)
now you can line up the template that comes with the pins to show you were to cut out & drill to fit the base of the catch in
then its just a case of bolting it down & fin tuning the pin height
