Adjusting clutch on a 1L

Hey, my sisters Micra has had a new clutch a while ago, but it's really high and I've been told by my mechanic to adjust it, simple job 10mm nut on the cable near the box, I've seen this cable, if you pull the sleeving up it's a metal cable, but I cannot for the life of me see this nut anywhere.

Maybe an aftermarket cable has been put on?

the nut is how the end of the cable fixes on so it must be there mate.

I just adjusted mine, it's under the battery tray, there's a thumb screw on one side of the bolt and a nut on the other, if you put more slack in the cable, it lowers the bite point. Also seems to make the clutch much lighter. Works though!
