2nd Micra purchase, things to look out for?

Hi folks.

Yesterday i purchased my second ever Micra. My first being a cheap, troublesome high-milage 1.3 Super S a couple of years ago.

With a price of £920, 57k on the clock in decent condition and running well i'm extremely pleased with my new 1.3 SR (pictures to come).

I have a Haynes manual on its way so i'll try not to be naive with my questions;

What is a healthy/normal milage for this car (i'm assuming Parkers go off new-car statistics) ?

The MOT certificate mentions 'OSR quarter damaged', whats the worst this could be?

Are there any subtle tests i can do to look for underlying problems?

the tester is probably just covering his butt with an advisery on a previous repair, it might be worth checking if it was a cat C repairable (because insurance will only want to payout about 1/2 book price i believe)

My 1.4 S K11 was traded in with 107,000 on the clock and everything, clutch included, worked good as new .
