205/55 15 tyres - 6.5" or 7" wheels?

Hi guys, standard tyres on the new oil-burner are 175/65 15. I've worked out that 205/55 15 are incredibly close in rolling diameter. I realise these are going to look slightly 'balloony' but we all know K12 arches take a lot of filling !

They'd look slightly meaner and less balloony on 7" wheels than 6.5" wheels (Rota Grids) - what d'ya reckon?

Cheers Frank, I'll go for the 7's then . Forgot to mention, popped in for a look at the dCI on the way home from work - it looks brand spanking new .

Yeah, 8's and -4" out of the ride height.

Agree with you both that 8's would look EPIC but they only Grids in 7" .

I'm pretty sure that the 15" grid V are wider then 7"
